    1. I love spring and summer the best, probably because that is what the weather is like here in Southern California most of the year. I do like the crisp evenings though :) Wish we got more of the seasons sometimes!!

  4. My favorite part of starting a new year is when I finally get all the K and PK kids screened, lol!

    1. That must be so much work to screen all of them! I haven't done that yet, I trust that teachers will refer them to me...but that might change in the future! What is your favorite screening tool?

  11. "WOOO HOOO!" (You asked! I WHOO HOO'ed, but we usually say CHEEEHUUUU!!! here in Hawaii!)
My favorite part of the school year is the opportunity to meet new kids and families. I don't work in the school, but in a home-based intervention program. I work with children who don't qualify for other services --the GAP kids, if you will. I usually have a large turn around at this time of year, as I graduate my little one who go into public schools (usually without the need for continued service). Mahalo for all your fun packets you do! ALOHA from the Big Island.

    1. YES for the WOO HOO! :) THANKS! ohhh I like CHEEEHUUUU! That's more fun!

Oh my goodness, I talk about the "gap" kids all the time. Our system needs to get better at catching them!! Especially the students with abilities levels in the 80's...man it's hard!
