I love doing these link ups from All Y'all Need! I feel like I just did the June one! Where is my summer going?
Using glitter, glue and paint: some of you may or may not know that I used to have a craft blog! I don't do it anymore, because I usually ended up posting my crafts on Facebook! I needed a blog that would marry crafts and SLP, thus Queen's Speech was born! Anyways "bride brain" has me frazzled, back on topic.... I have been using glitter, glue and paint on all kinds of wedding crafts, like making my own wedding favors. I will post pictures after the wedding, promise. It's kind of nice to be taking a little break from things Speech-Language.
Loving my fiancé: Why? Well for one, I am marrying the guy, and I can only call him that for a few more weeks! After 10 years of calling him my boyfriend, transitioning to calling him my fiancé was weird! 3 weeks from now he will be my HUSBAND! It's all so exciting!
Yummy carne asada: Yesterday was the 4th of July, and here in Southern California we celebrate the "American" way with TACOS! Yep, yummy yummy carne asada, guacamole, and salsa! Nothing better in the world, especially when you have a cold drink in hand and the warm sunshine of the beach!
How are you enjoying your summer? Doing anything fun?

Thanks for linking up, especially with a wedding so close! That was fun to read!
ReplyDeleteGood for you and fitness. I have a bit more to go than 10 pounds.
We also celebrate holidays with Tex Mex food here in Texas. Tamales on Christmas Eve are a big hit.

I love doing the Link-ups I think it allows for a bit of my personality to show through all the usually serious SLP stuff we yammer on about! :) YES for Tex Mex food! I work in a heavily populated hispanic area and have the pleasure of eating tamales once in a while. No wonder I've gained weight, I can't say no when rice and beans are involved!
DeleteYay for almost being married! I can relate - my hubby and I dated 9 years before saying "I do". It's definitely more fun calling him 'husband'. Have a beautiful wedding! Can't wait to see some pictures.
