March 2013 SLP Link Up!

Thursday, March 21, 2013

I decided to participate in my first SLP link up ever. Would you like to participate? All the instructions can be found here: Oh, How Pintearesting!

State of Mind:
  • Currently is hopeful! I have been so busy the last few months! Crazy busy at work, planning a wedding and started my Teachers pay Teachers Store! I am hopeful that with 2 weeks off for spring break and a less busy work life will help me relax a bit.

Loving:
  • All the support and love from the Teachers Pay Teachers world! I have already met some great people, networking, supporting and sharing. Seriously, it has re inspired me and keep creating because it is what I love to do!

Prepping:
  • If you haven't yet enter our SLP Blog Hop (running through March 23). You will have a chance to win 12 awesome activities. One of which is from Word to the Wise Don't Let Grammar Bug You: Plurals, Past Tense Verbs and Conjunctions. Available for $5.00 and I am telling you it is worth every penny! I laminated it and I am currently cutting out all the adorable little cards and there are TONS of them! The content and graphics really couldn't be any better. Excited to begin using this when I get back after spring break.
  • Also prepping my WH Whale Questions 144 cards, Whale Die, worksheet, open ended game board, 6 posters and more! I love these whale graphics and they inspired me to make this project! I finally got around to printing it, and it's going to be a great extra support for working on WH questions.

PS I did my first guest post ever today over on The Dabbling Speechie! Thank you again for letting me post! I feel like it is such an honor to  do something like that from a more established blogger (especially one who was featured in TpT's newsletter this week! Congrats!) You can find my guest post here: Beanbag Brigade

  1. Rachel, thanks for participating! You are brave to take on a wedding and TpT. You must be super organized or never sleep.

I'm jealous of your 2 weeks off. I'm at the end of my one-week Spring Break.

The Whale Questions look adorable, and I have entered the Blog Hop! Crossing my fingers!

  3. Two weeks off-that is fantastic! Although with wedding planning it may not seem like as much of a vacation I guess. The Whale question activity looks so great! I LOVE the bunny and carrot bean bags! I may have to get to the craft store today (again...)

  10. I'm quite enjoying participating in this link up and reading what everyone else has going on! First off, 2 weeks off...AWESOME! Planning a wedding...I was crazy enough to do that too while working full time my first year in the schools and really it was so much fun! If I wasn't an SLP I think I would have been a wedding planner. Anyway, I hope your 2 weeks are very productive and you get to spend time planning tons of wedding fun!!!! I also hope your wedding goes off without a hitch! August if quickly approaching but you'll get it all done I'm sure! Good luck and congratulations!!! Oh...also I enjoyed your guest blog very much as well!!! I'm terrible at sewing but I need to work on it so I can be as creative as you :)

  11. I love your WH Whale Questions too and have added them to my cart so I remember to grab them next time I make a purchase. Love meeting other bloggers through this link-up party. Best wishes with your wedding planning! It is so much fun, but a lot of work. I got married in 2011 and moved across the country and started a new job 3 weeks before the wedding - it was a stressful time. I'm sure your day will be beautiful!
